Flor De Ahillas Blanco 2023 is a fantastic white wine with D.O. Valenciafrom Bodegas terra D’Art. The plots from which this wine is made have been abandoned for 3 years. The Martínez Palmero family, betting on them, invested 3 years to recover them and bring them to their current production. These vines provide small, loose clusters, which, together with production per vine of less than 2 kg, allow for the artisanal production of this magnificent white wine.

Description
PREPARATION
Grapes: 100% Merseguera.
The Flor De Ahillas Blanco 2023 wine is made only from the Merseguera variety and from vines old women of 60 years old, who have suffered great stress, and that the Martínez Palmero family recovered them. The grapes enter the winery in the morning in 15 kg boxes. at a temperature between 6ºC and 12ºC to avoid oxidation and to lower its temperature, carbonated snow is used. A pre-fermentation maceration is carried out at 6ºC for about 32 hours. Subsequently, it is pressed in a very low capacity pneumatic press. Once the wine has fermented, it undergoes 2 months of active aging on the lees, which gives it greater structure and volume in the mouth.
TASTING
View: Clean and bright, with a straw yellow tone that stands out with a very slow tear and that makes you sense the unctuousness it will have in the mouth.
Nose: It is surprising for its aromatic complexity that makes one doubt that it was a variety as neutral as Merseguera. Its tropical aromas and white flowers invade even the still glass.
Mouth: Unctuous, its acidity and persistence quickly make you taste it again.
