Description
PREPARATION
Fifty Pounds Gin is made with a base of grain alcohol in which the botanicals rest for at least two days and is obtained through 4 distillations in small batches in a single still and filtered three times in order to ensure exceptional smoothness. This gin contains 11 botanicals of which the first 8 are relatively common: juniper berries from the mountains of Croatia, angelica root, coriander seeds from the Middle East, licorice root, grains of paradise from the Gulf of Guinea, lemon and orange peels from Spain and savory from France, angelica and licorice root and three other absolutely secret components. Its recipe has remained hidden and unpublished for several generations of a family of London distillers.
TASTING
View: Colorless.
Nose: Botanical notes along with alcohol.
Mouth: Soft on the palate, with good harmonization between alcohol and botanicals, and above all balanced, lightly perfumed, without highlighting any of its components.
