Duval-Leroy Precious Parcel Petit Meslier Vintage 2007 is made entirely from a grape variety almost forgotten in Champagne: Petit Meslier. This robust grape thrives in clay soils such as those of the Marne Valley. Product of the close relationship between the vineyard and the sun, and a deep observation of nature, this Champagne provokes a liveliness mixed with soft and warm touches behind a balanced depth that explodes in the mouth. Maison Duval-Leroy was created by the partnership of Armand Leroy and Jules Duval. Today the house cultivates 200 hectares planted mainly with Chardonnay grapes in plots classified as Grand Cru or Premier Cru at the top of the Crus scale created in 1911. This Maison based in Vertus in Champagne is currently managed by the sixth generation.
TASTING
View: Yellow color with gold tones.
Nose: Bouquet with a powerful profile of balance and complexity. Aromas of white peach, violet and verbena that will delight lovers of fine wines.
Mouth: Soft and fruity, it evolves a little faster over time and provides roundness. A delicacy on the palate with sweet and warm touches.
Recommended temperature: 8-10ºC.
