PREPARATION
Grapes: Chardonnay.
Duval-Leroy Blanc de Blancs Brut Reserve is born from the union of Chardonnay grapes harvested in the best Champagne Crus, from the eastern outskirts of Reims to the famous Montgueux. Vinification is carried out entirely in steel, followed by refermentation in the bottle with aging on lees for just under 3 years. Maison Duval-Leroy was created by the partnership of Armand Leroy and Jules Duval. Today the house cultivates 200 hectares planted mainly with Chardonnay grapes in plots classified as Grand Cru or Premier Cru at the top of the Crus scale created in 1911. This Maison based in Vertus in Champagne is currently managed by the sixth generation.
TASTING
View: Straw yellow color with fine and persistent bubbles.
Nose: Floral and mineral aromas, reached by notes of pastry, toffee and acacia honey.
Mouth: In the mouth it is complex and deep, with good freshness and balance.
