Cù Bòcan Creation #5 70cl. Case
Cù Bòcan Creation #5 is considered the first single malt Scotch whiskey matured in Colombian Andean oak barrels. The Cù Bòcan Creation series revolutionizes Scotch whiskey with experimentation, while paying tribute to its protective legacy. A leader in innovation in barrel selection, this is not the first time Cù Bòcan has experimented with a new type of barrel, being the first to use Japanese shochu barrels for the maturation of a previous Creation release in 2019 Creation #2.

TASTING
View:
Warm golden tone.
Nose:
Incredibly herbaceous with aromas of ylang-ylang, carnation, eucalyptus before sweeter hints of white chocolate praline and lemon sponge cake develop. The nose is fresh and elegant with a spicy and resinous character.
Mouth:
The sweeter notes begin to interact more with the smoke and spices leading to flavors of campfire banana splits, ash toffee, and clove-spiced vanilla. The herbal notes that were so prominent on the nose settle subtly in the background before a warm finish with soft phenols and spices.
