Description
PREPARATION
Terry Centenario is a drink distilled and aged in Terry's cellars according to the Criaderas y Soleras method in American oak casks previously vinified with sherry wine. It is a mixture of the three distillates (in column, alquitaras and column spirit), with the alquitaras predominating.
The story of Terry begins in 1865 with the winery business of Fernando A. de Terry, who began to produce his wines in El Puerto de Santa María (Cádiz), but it was his son Fernando M. de Terry who officially founded the winery. As the years went by, the now legendary icons of the brand began to appear: the characteristic yellow mesh, woven with a handmade silk net, inspiration from the local fisherwomen, and the horse, which appears with the acquisition of the famous Carthusian horse ranch Hierro del Palatedo. Terry is a brand established as one of the most emblematic that preserves the traditional production process.
TASTING
View: Bright, luminous amber color, with ocher tones.
Nose: Very delicate in smell, ethereal, pleasant, with vanilla nuances of the wood that contained it and fruity and bitter almond notes.
Mouth: Soft, warm, with notes of raisins, grapes and oaks. It is a complex spirit, persistent and long in the aftertaste.
