PREPARATION
For the production of Peinado brandy, Dutch wines from Airén variety grapes are used as raw material, distilled in copper stills over low heat. Peinado 10 Años is aged during this period in American oak casks, previously cured and whose capacity ranges between 200 and 500 liters.
Brandy Peinado was born in Tomelloso in 1820. The founders did their first distillation over direct heat of a rigorous selection of wines from the Airén variety, from which they obtained holandas of excellent quality and character for aging. And they found the key to originality: Spray the soleras not with holandas, but with aged brandy. A practice that has stood the test of time, and has become essential to offer that aroma and body that give the unique personality of Peinado brandy.
TASTING
View: It is amber in tone, combining yellow with light reddish.
Nose: Fine, subtle but complex aromas. With memories of dried fruits, touches of dried plums, licorice, sweet tones and honey.
Mouth: Tasty, round and complex, with memories of sensations perceived on the nose. Aftertaste of wood and vanilla with great richness.
