Description

PREPARATION

Amrut Indian Single Malt Whiskey is made from locally grown barley, harvested in the northwestern region of the country and from the water that flows at the foot of the Himalayas. Once obtained from the distillate, the liquor is matured for 4 years in new American oak barrels and former bourbon barrels before being bottled. The Amrut distillery, which means "Nectar of the gods", was one of the pioneer companies in the spirits industry in India, founded in 1948, just after the independence of India, it began producing rum and brandy. Their whiskeys are aged in the tropical climate of Bangalore, the garden city of India at 3000 meters above sea level, and are not filtered or cold-dyed, which gives a distinction to whiskeys made in other parts of the world, highlighting the spicy, fruit and honey notes.

TASTING

View: Light amber color.
