Absolut Peppar is Absolut's spiciest and most flavorful vodka . It was introduced in 1986, seven years after Absolut Vodka. Besides being the first flavored vodka in the family, it was also the first flavored vodka imported to the United States. Since vodka and pepper are the main ingredients in a Bloody Mary, Absolut aimed to simplify the process for the numerous Bloody Mary bars that were beginning to spring up in Boston, New York, and many other places at the time. The idea had the desired effect, both for bartenders and enthusiasts, who could now serve Instant Bloody Marys in a perfect and easy-to-prepare way.

PREPARATION
Absolut Peppar vodka is made with water from a deep well located in the city of Åhus which, due to its depth, is protected from impurities; distilled from winter wheat and natural aroma. Winter wheat is distinguished from other crops in that it is planted in the fall and harvested the following fall, meanwhile it grows under the Swedish snow, which develops a hard grain. To ensure a superior quality product, it is made using a continuous distillation process designed by Lars Olsson Smith. Flavored versions, like this one, are achieved using only 100% natural ingredients and without adding sugar.
TASTING
View: Crystalline.
Nose: Spicy notes of green pepper, jalapeño, paprika and black pepper, with a light touch of olive.
Mouth: With an authentic flavor, it offers a very balanced sensation: hot and spicy, but pleasant.
