Description
PREPARATION
Albertson Yellow Absinthe is made from the distillation of several Mediterranean plants, mainly wormwood (absinthe), anise and fennel. Absinthe became the most popular drink of the 19th century and famous artists such as Van Gogh, Manet, Santiago Rossinyol and Picasso among many others contributed to making its popularity even greater. They defended that absinthe enhanced their creativity, thanks to wormwood, or rather thujone, a component that causes a certain sensation of absolute pleasure and that led to its prohibition years later; first in Switzerland, then France, Great Britain and practically all the countries where it was consumed. Over time - more than half a century - and its growing demand, the states began to lift the prohibitions, of course, setting maximum limits on the content of thujone that did not give rise to hallucinations
TASTING
View: Bright yellow color.
Nose: Very aromatic.
Mouth: It has a soft aniseed flavor that has a complex, somewhat bitter background due to the use of several herbs, one of which stands out mainly, artemisia absinthium.
