Aradón Coordenadas 2016 represents the nectar that arises from old vines, twisted and cracked by the passage of years, an elegant Rioja that is made only in excellent vintages. A handcrafted wine that in every sip reveals a complex, mature, personal and special Tempranillo from start to finish, a delight of just 2,287 numbered bottles that shows us the taste of the passage of time. And it combines perfectly with elaborate dishes such as stews, stews, roasts, fish in sauce and all types of meat.

Description
PREPARATION
Grapes: 100% Tempranillo.
For the production of Aradon Coordenadas 2016 red wine the grapes were selected from 3 small plots of vines twisted by the passage of time, since they are 100-year-old vineyards grown on slopes with poor soils, with yields of less than 2000kg. per hectare. Fermentation took place in extra-fine grain French oak barrels, with malolactic fermentation in barrels with frequent batonages to keep the fine lees in suspension. Its aging period was 18 months in French oak barrels and a minimum of 14 months in the bottle. Aradón was a town that existed since Roman times and that mysteriously disappeared, it was located on a plane at 550m. of altitude called “La Mesa” currently occupied by vineyards up to 90 years old, owned by Bodegas Aradón (Cooperativa Vinícola Riojana de Alcanadre).
TASTING
View: Wine with a high layer, with an elegant, very deep ruby color.
Nose: Fine and elegant with aromas that range from wild black fruits, to light smoky touches, passing through floral and mineral notes.
Mouth: Complex and very expressive, with intense flavors of black fruit and tannins. Long finish with a notable mineral character.
Recommended temperature: 16-18ºC.
