Supreme Selection Horseshoe 70cl. - Case

PREPARATION

Herradura Selección Suprema tequila is made from the Tequilana Weber blue agave plants that surround Casa Herradura, in the lowland volcanic regions around Amatitán. Once ripe, the jimadores harvest the agave, cutting the leaves as close to the heart of the plant as possible to prevent them from turning bitter. Pineapples are slowly cooked for up to 26 hours to perfectly convert starches into sugars. Before being ground twice, the agave is left to cool in the ovens for nine hours. The extracted must is extremely sweet and rich. Through a 100% natural fermentation process, the yeast and wort are combined inside the tank for three days. It is distilled twice to remove the head and tail and only the best alcohol is retained to deliver a complex flavored product. This tequila is aged in American white oak barrels for 49 months. The famous Horseshoe emblem is carefully applied by hand to each bottle and meticulously inspected.

TASTING

View: Dark amber color.

Nose: Subtle aromas of agave, dry wood, vanilla, cinnamon and rose petal.

Mouth: Complex balance of cooked agave, fine vanilla, toasted oak and dried fruit. Long-lasting and subtly smooth flavor. Creamy and smooth finish with a great aftertaste.
