Charles Tanqueary meticulously documented his ideas and discoveries throughout his life. Motivated by a persistent desire to find perfection, he sought inspiration in all kinds of sources: from the exotic spices of the East unloaded in London's dock areas to his travels to the most remote parts of Europe. However, in some cases his source of inspiration was much closer to home. In his 1839 notes, we find Lovage, a recipe that highlighted an exquisite and balanced flavor created from the finest local English ingredients. Today, we pay tribute to Charles's passion for perfection by presenting the world with a fragment of his imagination: Tanqueray Lovage.

The key botanical is lovage, a perennial aromatic herb with strong flavors reminiscent of celery or parsley.

Appearance:
Crystal clear.

Nose:
Deeply aromatic, herbal with celery salt and slightly earthy, along with a comforting aroma of juniper and pine, licorice, and chamomile flower.

Palate:
Its deeply aromatic and lasting notes create an exquisite flavor, well integrated with an herbal background, full-bodied, harmonious, and spicy.
