Santa Teresa 1796 70cl. - Case

Santa Teresa 1796 rum was created to commemorate the Bicentennial of the Hacienda in 1996, when Alberto Vollmer Herrera, a member of the fourth generation of the family, challenged the company to develop a rum that could maximize all the expertise learned in the first 200 years. It is a brave and elegant rum with blends of up to 35 years, aged in oak bourbon barrels, using the solera method, resulting in a dry, smooth and balanced rum. Presentation: Bottle with case.

Description

PREPARATION

Everything about Santa Teresa 1796, from the special rum still to the Solera Method, the bottling system and the manual application of wax to seal the cork, makes each bottle a unique and exclusive piece. Passed down from master to master, the Solera method ensures that each bottle of Santa Teresa 1796 contains rum from the first barrel of 1796. This is because the original barrel has never been empty. Instead, each time a bottle is drawn, the barrel is lightly refilled with a younger rum.
The Master Rum Makers of Santa Teresa learn by watching the artisan eye of an experienced Master of Santa Teresa. They must acquire the knowledge and artisan skills, the sense, the memory, the recipes, first to apply it themselves, and then to transfer it to the next generation.
