PREPARATION
The Opthimus 18 Years Rum is distilled in copper stills and matures using the Solera system in an artisanal way in American white oak barrels that were previously used to age Kentucky bourbon for a minimum of 18 years, which provides it with spectacular harmony. Made by the renowned Oliver&Oliver house. Founded in the mid-19th century by the Mallorcan of Spanish origin Juanillo Oliver, it has a long history and recognized international prestige in the production of high-quality rums thanks to its mother rums and long aging.
TASTING
View: Bright mahogany color, with intense reflections.
Nose: Complex and pleasant bouquet with traces of Caribbean and exotic aromas, of sugar and dried fruits, along with sweet notes of vanilla, tobacco and light wood.
Mouth: Pleasantly fruity, round, powerful and harmonious with honeyed notes, coffee, chocolate, caramel and vanilla. The finish is long, soft and woody.
