Description
PREPARATION
The Ron Coruba 12 Years Cigar is known to be particularly popular in New Zealand and Australia. Aged in a Solera system in small oak barrels for at least 12 years, it develops a beautiful maturity, maintaining the balance that characterizes this aging technique and is bottled by hand. The origin of the Coruba brand is quite incredible. In fact, Coruba is the contraction of 'Compagnie Rhumiere de Bale', a Swiss company that created "The Rum Company Ltd" in Jamaica in 1929. The latter was bought in 1965 by the Jamaican producer Wray & Nephew, owner, among others, of the Appleton brand.
TASTING
View: Dark golden color.
Nose: Aromas of vanilla and dried grass with a few touches of flowers with wood spices.
Mouth: Rich in flavor, full of notes of dried tropical fruits, a slightly dry honey flavor, hints of burnt sugar, cinnamon and cloves, vanilla, toffee and milk chocolate. Short and dry finish.
