The Ron Pura Vida Puro follows a unique manufacturing process guided by the philosophy of transparency and absolute respect for the origin promoted by the French house Les Bienheureux. Unlike commercial rums that rely on additives or added sugars to mask imperfections, the production of this "Pura" version prioritizes technical cleanliness and the authenticity of the Costa Rican terroir.

It is made from cane grown under the tropical sun of Costa Rica, selected for its optimal level of sucrose and its clean aromatic profile. High purity water from local sources is used, vital to guarantee the lightness and structural fineness of the liquid from its genesis.

The fermented musts undergo a distillation process that combines traditional copper stills (pot stills) and high-precision columns. This dual system allows the alcohol to be optimally purified—removing heavy impurities—while preserving the vegetal and fresh nuances of freshly cut sugar cane.

The differentiating factor of this reference lies in the decision to not add complimentary sugars, syrups or artificial colors after distillation. While many commercial rums compensate for alcoholic aggressiveness with artificial sweetness, Pura Vida Puro fully relies on the mastery of blending to achieve a dry, balanced profile true to its geographical origin.

The distillate goes through a brief period of stabilization and rest in inert tanks or neutral barrels to round out its alcoholic edges. It undergoes a careful filtering process that eliminates any trace of color, ensuring a crystalline, bright liquid with a clean texture, prepared to offer a direct taste experience without artifice.
