Bodegas Portia has been part of the Faustino group since the 90s, when the company acquired the first lands in Ribera del Duero. They currently have 160 hectares in the area of Roa, Gumiel de Izán, Villanueva and Gumiel de Mercado, one of the best Ribera del Duero wine regions. It includes the provinces of Soria, Burgos, Segovia and Valladolid. The vast majority of production focuses on red wines, although rosés are also produced. It is a region with a great winemaking tradition and the cradle of great wines recognized worldwide. The main variety used in the production of Ribera del Duero wines is Tempranillo, also called Tinto Fino, or Tinta del País, present in more than 90% of the vineyard. It is a perfectly adapted variety with which elegant and very well structured wines are made.

Red Wine Portia Roble 2022 is one of the revelations of Ribera del Duero Wines. Made from 100% Tinta Fina (Tempranillo) grapes aged for at least 4 months in French oak barrels. In a short time, Bodegas Portia has become a benchmark for Ribera del Duero wineries.
Tasting notes
View:
Clean and bright in color, garnet tone with ruby evolution.
Nose:
With a powerful nose, good intensity in aromas from ripe red forest fruit with notes of cedar and vanilla.
Mouth:
Good palate, silky and balanced. Well integrated tannins and aromas of dried fruits. It has a medium finish where memories of the toasting of the barrel predominate.
Recommended temperature: Between 16º and 18ºC.
Food pairing
Very good with any type of meat and grilled potatoes. Seafood fish and seafood. Medium-aged cheeses and desserts with forest fruits. Good with rice and all kinds of pasta. Very good with beans and purees in general.
