Description
PREPARATION
Rashomon Sake is a traditional Japanese liquor, which is made naturally from the fermentation of pure rice of the Yamada Nishiki variety, with an original yeast called Rashomon Kobo and with natural filtered water from the Kinokawa River. It is the main product of a distillery with more than 150 years of history that has been producing Premium quality sakes for more than 40 years: Tabata Sake Brewery, founded in 1851 to make beer, in 1976 it set itself the goal of producing premium Sake. In 1988 Rashomon "Hohoh" won the Gold Quality Award in its first appearance in the Monde Selection. And in 1989, Rashomon "Ryuju" won the Gold Grand Prize for Quality and became the first Japanese Sake to receive the gold palm leaf medal in honor of the product with the highest score.
TASTING
View: Very light color with slight yellow notes.
Nose: Aroma of heavy, starchy rice.
Mouth: In the mouth it is dry and sweet, with citrus notes. Long and persistent finish.
