PREPARATION

Galliano Vanilla Liqueur contains the heart of Galliano L'Autentico, including Mediterranean anise, cardamom, lavender, mint and cinnamon, to which a fragrant vanilla distillate of the highest quality has been added. Galliano traces its roots back to 1896, when Arturo Vaccari first brewed the iconic liqueur in Tuscany. The liqueur was originally created to celebrate the exploits of an Italian army commander, but gained international fame in the 1970s as a key ingredient in the Harvey Wallbanger cocktail. Galliano owes its extraordinary flavor to a complex and unique process that involves seven infusions and distillations of 30 meticulously selected herbs and spices, such as Mediterranean anise, juniper, lavender, mint and vanilla.

TASTING

View: Light color, golden yellow.

Nose: Memories of vanilla and mint candies with notes of toffee.

Mouth: Lightly syrupy, notes of mint appear with softening creamy vanilla, sweet licorice and herbal notes. Freshly ground black pepper emerges in the aftertaste and cuts the syrup with a lingering flavor of vanilla ice cream, refreshing spicy mint and a touch of anise.
