Description
PREPARATION
Grapes: 100% Monastrell.
From the vineyards located around the winery at an altitude of 700 meters northeast of Jumilla, the Monastrell grapes are obtained with which the Juan Gil Label Amarilla 2021 wine is produced with a short passage through wood. Maceration and fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. After malolactic fermentation and a short passage through wood depending on the characteristics of the harvest, it remains in stainless steel tanks until bottling. Bodegas Juan Gil dates back to 1916, the year in which Juan Gil Gimenez, great-grandfather of the current generation, entered the world of wine by building a small winery that was then located in the center of the city of Jumilla. His son, Juan Gil Guerrero, dedicated his entire life to this sector, but it was the third generation who consolidated the Juan Gil Winery, forging an image of quality, seriousness and efficiency.
