The Bootleg Series is a limited release collection. Each volume uses a different bourbon and a special finish, accompanied by an original work by Dylan on the bottle. The presentation is in a leather book-type case with engraved details and premium finish. The bottle is made of handmade ceramic and is decorated with an original work by Bob Dylan.

Winemaking
To make Bootleg Series Vol. V, a very aged bourbon is combined with an unusual finishing process. It is based on a Straight Bourbon aged for 18 years in new charred American oak barrels. Long aging develops deep notes of vanilla, caramel, toasted wood and spices.
After the main aging, the bourbon is transferred to barrels that previously contained Spanish red vermouth. For several months, it absorbs nuances of ripe fruits, aromatic herbs, citrus fruits and spices characteristic of vermouth.

It has a dark amber color with mahogany reflections. Bright and dense appearance.
Nose:
Aromas of figs, raisins and dates, candied orange peel, vanilla and toffee. Subtle herbal and balsamic notes provided by the vermouth barrels.
Mouth:
Powerful and rich entry with layers of burnt caramel, honey and dark chocolate. Flavors of ripe black fruits, baking spices and nutmeg. Nuances of aromatic herbs and bitter orange. Its finish is long, warm and persistent, with notes of cocoa, leather and sweet tobacco. Spicy aftertaste with hints of citrus and noble wood.
