PRODUCTION
Hayman's London Dry Gin is handcrafted using just ten botanicals, with a base of English wheat alcohol. These botanicals are macerated for two days before distillation, creating a fresh, bright, and classic gin balanced with crisp citrus, subtle notes of exotic spices, and remarkable depth, with a complexity traditionally associated with the London Dry style. The botanicals used are: juniper berries from Macedonia and Bulgaria, coriander seeds from Bulgaria, lemon and orange peels from Spain, angelica root from Belgium or France, cinnamon from Madagascar, cassia bark from China, licorice root powder from Sri Lanka, nutmeg from India, and orris root from Italy, which adds delicate floral notes and ties together the other botanicals.
TASTING
Appearance: Transparent.
Nose: A perfectly balanced union of crisp juniper and fresh citrus.
On the palate: Notes of pepper, along with a fresh blend of citrus flavors and hints of licorice. Balanced, elegant, and delicate finish. Overall, a very versatile gin with an elegant flavor.
