PREPARATION
The The GlenAllachie 11 Years Moscatel Wood Finish Whiskey is first aged in the best American oak barrels for more than nine years before being transferred to Moscatel barrels. This second maturation period enriches the flavor, creating a fruitier style of whiskey with a very lively and aromatic nose, typical of the Moscatel grape. One of Scotland's few independently owned and managed distilleries, The GlenAllachie is run by industry veteran Billy Walker, who has almost 50 years' experience in whisky. Located at the foot of Ben Rinnes, the distillery is in the heart of Speyside, with a focus on quality over quantity. Their passionate team, spanning 16 on-site warehouses with over 50,000 barrels, has complete control of the maturation process from end to end.
TASTING

Nose: Aroma of peaches and cinnamon balanced with heather honey and mocha.
Mouth: A rich combination of heather honey, orange zest and peaches, with notes of cinnamon and mocha in the background.
