PREPARATION

Martin Miller's Gin makes its gins in England from pure water from the snow that fell on the Icelandic glaciers more than 800 years ago and a balanced and very well-chosen set of botanicals, selected for their quality, wherever they are found, and not for their origin. The largest juniper berries, the richest in oils and aromas, are hand-selected. Coriander enriches the distinctive aroma of ginger, sage and lemon, while angelica imparts notes of dry wood. Licorice and cassia root add sweetness and spicy aromas in equal measure and lime peel provides extra freshness. Finally, wrapping it all up is the aromatic and floral Florentine iris. The citrus and earthy botanicals are distilled separately, retaining only the heart of both distillates. In this way, a more balanced and smooth flavor is obtained in which the juniper remains dominant, but which allows the freshness of the citrus to shine as well. The final distillate is mixed with water like no other, so pure that it does not require treatments or demineralization, offering the brand its famous aroma and softness in the mouth.

TASTING

View: Transparent and crystalline.

Nose: Its alcohol content enhances a soft flavor with notes of lemon peel and pine.

Mouth: Smooth and citrus flavor. An excellent balance where juniper predominates but a citrus freshness also stands out. The light sweetness of licorice enhances the citrus and spicy sensations. Long and fresh sensation with lemon notes.
