Description
PRODUCTION
Gibson's London Dry Gin is produced in the United Kingdom by La Martiniquaise using a traditional batch distillation process that makes this gin one of the favorites in the French market. It is made with juniper berries, angelica root, orange and lemon peel, coriander seeds, orris root, nutmeg and cinnamon, from grain spirit, rye or malted barley, chosen for their quality and smoothness. Afterwards, the resulting blend is brought to a boil in traditional stills. The vapors released are infused with the aromatic notes released by the botanicals, and distilled water is added. Subsequent cold filtration then removes all remaining particles.
TASTING
Appearance: Colorless.
Nose: On the nose it is perfumed, fruity and herbal, with notes of juniper, angelica and orange peel.
Palate: Citrus notes dominate, it is somewhat bitter and spicy, and in the background juniper and coriander are perceived.
