Winemaking
Grapes: Macabeo, Xarel·lo, Parellada and Chardonnay.
The Freixenet winemakers have combined the grapes used in the production of the classic Cordón Negro with a touch of Chardonnay to obtain a more intense wine and thus balance the effect of the ice, in this way the Cava Ice is made. Each variety used is made individually. It is a coupage aged between 12-14 months.
Tasting notes
View: Yellow and greenish color with fine and elegant bubbles.
Nose: Pleasant aromas of peach, ripe pear, flowers and a touch of tropical fruits.
Mouth: The palate is creamy and sweet with a long finish.
