These are 6 strictly limited bottlings, true treasures that matured for 16 long years and are only characterized by different refinements. This unique rum was distilled in 2005 in the rare Versailles wooden still. A relic of the Versailles plantation, located on the western bank of the Demerara River. The Versailles facility is the last operating wooden still facility in the world.

Description
PREPARATION
After distillation, this rum first matured for 8 years in ex-American bourbon barrels, and then another 8 years for its special barrel finishing (“double aging”) in fine French oak barrels in which dry Madeira wines were previously fermented. These are selected barrels that come from a single winery on the island of Madeira.TASTING
