Description

PREPARATION

Grapes: Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

Duval-Leroy Extra-Brut Prestige Premier Cru originates from the Premier Cru vineyards of the Côte des Blanc, the Marne Valley and the Montagne de Reims. It is made in a traditional way with 50% reserve wines and 50% base wine from the 2014 vintage, of which 2% of the wine was fermented in oak barrels and aged for at least 24 months on its lees. Maison Duval-Leroy was created by the partnership of Armand Leroy and Jules Duval. Today the house cultivates 200 hectares planted mainly with Chardonnay grapes in plots classified as Grand Cru or Premier Cru at the top of the Crus scale created in 1911. This Maison based in Vertus in Champagne is currently managed by the sixth generation.
