Cune Reserve 2017 75cl.
Cune Reserva 2017 is an excellent fine Rioja and a CVNE classic. Historically it was known as Cuarto Año or Quinto Año, but after the wine law of 1970 it was renamed Reserva. This wine pairs perfectly with meats, fish, stews, cheeses... The first wine that the Northern Spain Wine Company produced was named after his initials, but a simple and happy spelling mistake between the U and the V created the iconic Cune brand. Description
PREPARATION
Grapes: 85% Tempranillo, 15% Garnacha Tinta and Mazuelo.
The grapes used in the production of Cune Reserva 2017 wine come from our own farms harvested manually. Fermentation was carried out in a stainless steel tank at a controlled temperature, alternating different types of pumping over, traditional with a pump, delestage and pigeage. After fermentation, a hot maceration was carried out, with the total duration of vatting being about 18 months. Subsequently, and after malolactic fermentation, it began aging in French (some new) and American oak barrels, which lasted 24 months during which the wine evolved, adopting the characteristic notes of the two types of wood. After a natural clarification, the second phase of refining and balancing the wine took place with it remaining in the bottle for a minimum of 12 months.
