Description
PREPARATION
The Hennessy Paradis Imperial cognac is a creation of Yann Fillioux, the seventh generation Master Blender of the same family, recreating the imperial blend with aged brandy from the 19th and 20th centuries. Endowed with the richness of rare selected spirits that have to meet certain characteristics, some from the 19th century, more than 130 years old, and a subtle maturation in old barrels that maintains the oak notes, without excessively wooding the cognac, it reveals all the beauty of its exceptional refinement. This process requires an exceptional level of experience and artistic talent; Cellar masters must know at what point the spirit is at its optimal point and when it is ready to be part of the blend. Not only does it take years of dedication to create a vast library of spirits, but the techniques for tasting quintessential cognac are passed down through seven generations of the Fillioux family. Only Master Blenders with years of savoir-faire will be able to judge when a Hennessy Paradis Imperial Cognac is at its optimal point.
TASTING
View: Light amber color.
Nose: It is revealed with the freshness of the first summer flowers. Varied notes that make you think of orange, jasmine and orange blossom, all combining with touches of the smoky aroma of spices.
Mouth: The floral notes stand out, returning on the palate, without rest, continually revealing new tones of expression and supreme elegance. A very subtle structure that surprises in the end for its eternal persistence. Simply extraordinary.
