Description
PRODUCTION
Using traditional Charentais copper pot still distillation on lees, the Delpech Fougerat VS cognac exudes sophistication and savoir-faire. After spending at least 2 years ageing delicately in oak casks, it has surprisingly opulent aromas compared to others in its age category, its blend of Petite Champagne and Fins Bois eaux-de-vie produces a particularly floral bouquet with luxurious aromas of juicy pear and fresh grapes, all rounded off with a fabulous fruity flavour profile on the palate. Les Brûleries Modernes has a 100-hectare estate that extends across the Petite Champagne and Fins Bois terroir, with a history dating back to 1777. The family business became famous thanks to the quality of the cognacs they produce.
