Description
PREPARATION
Grapes: 100% Tempranillo.
CM Matarromera is a red wine of the Tempranillo variety, from our vineyards between 30 and 80 years old located in the highest area of Sonsierra. Plots very close to Bodega CM de Matarromera with the names of Gallomate, San Martín and La Rad, with a height of 610 meters and soils with a clay loam texture. The grapes used to make this wine have been selected and hand-picked in 10 kilo boxes. It undergoes malolactic fermentation in concrete tanks and then remains for 12 months in French (65%) and American (35%) oak barrels.
TASTING
View: Cherry red color with bluish nuances, a sign of good evolution.
Nose:
It has very intense and clean aromas, it is a frank and sincere wine that immediately shows us its aromas of fresh red fruits from the range of strawberries, cherries and blackberries. In the background, aromas of aromatic plants such as thyme and lavender appear and it has a background of spicy and aromatic touches.
Mouth:
It is broad, with great volume, fresh and a very marked acidity. Its delicate structure makes it easy to drink, but providing strength and intensity in all tasting phases
Recommended temperature: 16-18ºC.
