PREPARATION
Carlos I 130th Anniversary is the result of completely emptying for the first time, two of the original centenary butts of the founding Solera of Carlos I. The precious liquid is mixed in an artisanal way with old holandas from the Private Reserve of Ignacio Lozano, offering a unique experience of what virtuosity represents in the dynamic aging of Brandy de Jerez. A unique blend with aromas of ginger, nutmeg and sandalwood. A masterpiece with an average age of 20 years.
TASTING
View: Very intense dark mahogany color, with golden edges and opulent tears, the result of great old age.
Nose: Wonderful balance between freshness and intensity of candied citrus and spices, which gives way to a minerality of exceptional elegance.
Mouth: Tremendously smooth on the palate, at the same time it offers an explosion of aromas with ginger, nutmeg, sandalwood and lavender honey, whose endless finish leaves complex notes of licorice and noble woods.
