Julio Faustino Martínez always had the dream of creating a winery built among vineyards, thus transferring the concept of a château to the land of Rioja. In 1990, that dream came true. Belonging to the Faustino Group in the DOCa Rioja, Bodegas Campillo shares the family character and international prestige of the rest of the group's wineries. Located in a privileged environment, with views of Laguardia and the mountains, the winery forms a majestic architectural space perfectly integrated into nature. This red wine is one of the Rioja classics par excellence. Ideal with rice with mushrooms or grilled mushrooms, any type of meat, highly flavored or fatty fish (tuna or cod) or Emmental or Gruyère cheeses.

Description
PREPARATION
Grapes: 100% Tempranillo
Harvest carried out manually. Vatted in stainless steel tanks in which it undergoes controlled fermentation and subsequent maceration for 14 days. Aged for a minimum of 12 months in American oak barrels. It is then refined in the winery's bottle racks.
TASTING
View:
Clean, bright and with a cherry color that evolves into garnet. Deep intensity.
Nose:
Aromas of ripe red fruit, well integrated with the sweet notes of vanilla from the toasting of the barrel and the presence of spices such as cloves and cinnamon.
Mouth:
Pleasant, with tannins that mark the pace and a well-integrated acidity. Medium finish, in which the sweet notes of ripe fruit and the toast of the barrel are perceived. Structured and homogeneous in the mouth, with elegant tannin.
Recommended temperature: 16ºC.
