PREPARATION
Brandy Peinado is obtained from the slow-heat distillation of Airén wines in Dutch copper stills and is made by sprinkling the solera with aged brandy, Peinado 12 Años remains during that period in American oak butts.
Brandy Peinado was born in Tomelloso in 1820. The founders did their first distillation over direct heat of a rigorous selection of wines from the Airén variety, from which they obtained holandas of excellent quality and character for aging. And they found the key to originality: Spray the soleras not with holandas, but with aged brandy. A practice that has stood the test of time, and has become essential to offer that aroma and body that give the unique personality of Peinado brandy.
TASTING
View: Mahogany color.
Nose: Sweet aromas of vanilla and dates with hints of nuts, almonds and licorice. Very nice.
Mouth: Round and soft, complex set of very rich nuances. It has flavors of vanilla and nuts, as well as toasted wood tones. The finish is smooth and long.
