Description
PREPARATION
The Gran Duque de Alba brandy is obtained from a careful selection of high-quality white wines, made from Palomino grapes and Airén grapes, distilled at 65º in the alquitaras. These wine distillates, also known as “holandas” are aged in American oak casks, which have been previously winened with Oloroso type sherry wine. This aging, over 12 years, is carried out through the dynamic system of Criaderas and Soleras, with which a brandy with the same flavor, aroma and identical quality is achieved in all its productions thanks to the homogeneity provided by this type of aging typical of the Marco de Jerez.
TASTING
View: Mahogany color with golden tones.
Nose: Complexity of aromas of "wine esters", with broad balsamic nuances that denote its long and adequate permanence in wood.
Mouth: Slightly sweet, it is soft and full on the palate, with toasted and vanilla notes as well as a long and pleasant finish.
Recommended temperature: 10-15º C.
