PREPARATION
Blackwood's Strong Gin can be defined as the first Premium "vintage" gin produced. The botanicals used are harvested annually in the sensitive area of the Shetland Islands, located beyond the 60th parallel, where the North Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean. An often hostile environment, with long winters and short summers that affect a delicate ecosystem, where herbs change their flavor depending on climatic conditions that, in turn, can vary from one year to the next. Each batch is practically unique, maintaining the smoothness and balance that a distillation process requires. The high alcohol content helps maintain the aromatic properties of the botanical.
