Description
PREPARATION
Benriach 30 Years whiskey has been made with peated whiskey aged for at least thirty years in four barrels matured in sherry barrels, bourbon barrels, virgin oak barrels and port barrels from the Douro Valley. The Benriach distillery was founded in 1898 in north Speyside. He is always looking for an eclectic mix of casks from around the world, selected for their character and exceptional flavors to give to the whiskey. The barrels are filled with three different types of liquor: classic, peated or triple distilled. It is known for its long tradition.
TASTING
View:
Mahogany color.
Nose:
Braised plum, baked orange, smoked walnut and cinnamon cocoa.
Mouth:
Flavor of black fruit, manuka honey and chocolate raisins, with a long and complex finish of smoked honey.
