Arienzo Crianza is a red wine from the D.O. La Rioja produced by the Marqués de Riscal winery. It is a century-old winery, founded in 1858 by Marqués de Riscal, one of the key personalities in the development of the D.O. Rioja. The Marqués de Riscal winery is located in El Ceco, in the extreme south of Rioja Alavesa. It combines very well with all meats that are not red.

Description
PREPARATION
Grapes: 90% Tempranillo, 5% Graciano and 5% Mazuelo.
The grapes come from vineyards located in the municipalities of Laguardia and El Ceco, two of the southernmost locations in Álava. The harvest of this vintage of Arienzo Crianza began on September 17. Regarding its production, traditional winemaking is carried out. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Once the fermentation processes are completed, Arienzo Crianza spends about 18 months of aging in American oak barrels. Finally, after bottling, this red wine will spend a further 12 months aging in the bottle.
TASTING
View: Cherry red color with maroon touches.
Nose: On the nose, aromas of red fruits accompanied by notes of vanilla and coconut from its barrel aging.
Mouth:
In the mouth it presents itself with a broad and pleasant attack. A fresh and fruity red wine, persistent and very versatile. Recommended temperature: 16ºC.
