PREPARATION

To make Alfred Giraud Heritage whiskey, three unpeated French malt distillates are made that matured in different barrels, mainly in extra old cognac barrels with a proportion in new French Limousin and American oak barrels, they are mixed and then matured in extra old cognac barrels. At Alfred Giraud they make whiskey for those who challenge convention, refuse to be bound by tradition and take risks in the pursuit of perfection. TASTING

Natural and golden color.  

Nose:

Complex but balanced. Buttery cakes and brioche turn into aromas of toasted malts and sweet baking spices.

Mouth:

Structured with a full body. Brioche quickly transitions to herbal notes. A light wood perfectly balanced with vanilla and nutmeg. Refined and well rounded. The finish is sophisticated and subtle. Mild spices and nutty malts balance each other beautifully, leading to slightly sweet notes from the extra-aged cognac casks.
