Poblet Abbey Font Voltada 2017 75cl.
With this red wine Font Voltada, a heritage of ancestral production has been recovered that takes us back to the first winemaking in which the whole bunch was used. It has been investigated how these bottles last and are maintained over time with all the virtues of a fresh and lively wine. La Font Voltada is one of the oldest vineyards in Trepat located in Conca de Barberà, between Sarral and Montbrió de la Marca, and which gives its name to this fine wine with a very present fruit note. It combines ideally with a good rice of rabbit and artichokes, or magret with trumpets of death, coca de escalivada with gratin goat cheese, cake with Iberian ham, and can accompany very well with an assortment of semi-cured cheeses with jam. Description
View:
Clean, limpid and bright. Garnet color with ruby reflections. Middle layer intensity. Very nice to look at.
Nose:
First contact where a delicate aromatic harmony permeates you. The spicy notes (peppercorns) stand out, along with the mineral ones, thus highlighting the characteristic touches of wet stone. Fragrance and personality at its highest state.
Mouth:
Vibrant entry into the mouth. Its course is fresh, thanks to its marked acidity. It is worth highlighting the tremendously elegant tannins that develop to a subtly sapid finish with a marked mineral character.
