Ron Zacapa was created in 1976 to commemorate the centenary of the founding of the city of the same name, Zacapa. A legendary city in Guatemala located more than one hundred kilometers from its capital. The name "Zacapa" means "over the river of grass" and comes from its original Aztec language, Nahuatl. Founded in 1936, this distillery has earned a global reputation for its exceptional craftsmanship and commitment to quality. What sets Ron Zacapa apart is its aging process, which takes place at an altitude of 2,300 meters above sea level in the Guatemalan highlands, where temperature fluctuation is essential for the maturation of the rum.

Ron Zacapa X.O. is a premium rum made from a blend of aged rums between six and twenty-five years old, partly aged in French oak barrels previously used with cognac. A masterpiece created for the delight of its loyal followers, who will find maximum expression in all its nuances.TASTING
