PRODUCTION
Whitley Neill Rhubarb & Ginger Gin is an excellent flavored variant with which you will experience a dance between citrus and sweet notes. The botanicals that compose it are: Juniper, orange, lemon, orris bark, coriander seed, angelica root, rhubarb extract, ginger extract, and licorice.
While most of Johnny Neill's inspiration for his award-winning gins comes from the intrepid exploits of his ancestors abroad, this gin comes from fond memories made a little closer to home. Johnny's latest gin evokes childhood memories of visiting his grandparents on their farm by taking a firm favorite of the Whitley family in rhubarb and giving it a warm touch with the addition of fresh ginger.
TASTING
Appearance: Clear and pinkish hints.
Nose: Rhubarb essence, aromatic and herbaceous.
Palate: Rhubarb essence adds a tart and crisp touch while real ginger warms the palate.
