PREPARATION
The making of Glenmorangie The Lasanta whiskey begins in the distillery's giraffe stills, which produce a deliciously delicate and fruity spirit. It is then matured in bourbon and sherry casks for 12 years, transforming it into a delicious odyssey filled with rich spiciness and sun-kissed sweetness. It radiates raisins, honeycomb and chocolate-covered hazelnuts lightened by cinnamon breezes. Every time you look at the sunset, you see something different: that's how you drink Lasanta. Glenmorangie has been making single malt whiskey since 1843, when farmer William Matheson and his wife Anne followed their dreams and founded their distillery. Its water is unusually rich in minerals, to help make the whiskey taste so wonderfully fruity. To keep this water pure, they own and protect the entire forest surrounding its source, the Tarlogie Spring. And they use the best barrels to age their spirit, sourced from all over, often even customized to your specifications to create a distinctive flavor profile.

Nose: Warm spices are mixed with chocolate covered raisins, honeycomb and butterscotch caramel.
Mouth: Sherry-flavored sultanas, orange segments, walnuts and caramel combine to create complex warm spices. Long and satisfying finish, with spicy orange and chocolate.
