PREPARATION
Auchentoshan American Oak is brewed from pure water and malted barley, gently kilned and completely uncrushed lets the Auchentoshan flavor shine. After fermentation, triple distillation is carried out, a procedure that no other Scottish distillery performs. And the story of Auchentoshan is about Distilling Different to create a Lowlands whiskey. This whiskey matures solely in American bourbon barrels for at least three years, no less. During this period the spirit and the wood work together, giving color and flavor to the finished whiskey.
