Winemaking
Mamont vodka is created in one of the oldest distilleries in Siberia, at the foot of the Altai Mountains, Itkul Distillery, founded in 1868. It is produced in one of the best ecologically preserved regions and its entire manufacturing process is carried out in one place, following a principle of terroir, an authentic vodka estate. It is made in the traditional way with the best natural ingredients, it is distilled 6 times from 4 grains: malted barley, malted millet, winter wheat and rye. The Itkul distillery uses a traditional grade malting process, which creates natural yeast and therefore ensures natural fermentation. This process, unique to vodka production in Siberia, explains Mamont's smooth flavor. The spirit is combined with Altai artesian water from its own wells 170m deep and filtered through silver birch charcoal enriched with silver ions to achieve greater smoothness and crystalline purity.
