As the rainbow flag approaches its 40th anniversary, Absolut has decided it's time to give the rainbow a permanent place in its product portfolio. This time, they've done so with screen-printed brushstrokes on the glass, creating a strong connection between all the artists who have inspired the Absolut bottle in the past.

Winemaking
Absolut vodka originated in southern Sweden when Lars Olsson Smith introduced continuous distillation and began producing a very pure vodka called Absolut Rent Brännvin. This vodka was distilled hundreds of times using only natural ingredients: water and winter wheat from Åhus, the creator's hometown. Although the brand was founded in New York in 1979, it is made exclusively from natural ingredients: water and winter wheat. The water comes from a deep well in Åhus, protected from impurities. The winter wheat is distinguished from other crops by being sown in the fall and harvested the following fall, growing under the Swedish snow, which develops a hard grain. Furthermore, the use of fertilizers is minimal, and unlike many other vodkas, it contains no added sugar. Absolut is, in fact, a vodka of exceptional purity.
Tasting notes
Appearance: Bright and crystal clear.
Nose: Elegant aroma, mountain herbs and cereal notes.
Palate: It has a rich, full-bodied and complex flavor, yet smooth and mature with the distinctive character of wheat grain, followed by a hint of dried fruit.
