Description
PREPARATION
Grapes: 90% Tempranillo, 5% Garnacha and 5% Mazuelo.
The grapes used to make the Aradón Reserva 2013 red wine came from our own vineyards integrated into the natural heritage in the areas of Alcanadre and Ausejo. Vineyards over 50 years old on very poor soils and with slight slopes with yields of less than 3,000 kilos. The harvest was carried out manually and was produced through spontaneous fermentation with its own yeasts and temperatures below 26º. It was aged for 18 months in French and American oak barrels and a minimum of 18 months in the bottle. Aradón was a town that existed since Roman times and that mysteriously disappeared, it was located on a plane at 550m. of altitude called “La Mesa” currently occupied by vineyards up to 90 years old, owned by Bodegas Aradón (Cooperativa Vinícola Riojana de Alcanadre).
