Description
PREPARATION
Grapes: Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay.
To achieve the integrity of Champagne Veuve Clicquot Rosé the mixing process is an essential element, a creative act. The Cellar Master and his team of experts select excellent quality red wines and still wines from some of the most sought-after Champagne vineyards to find those flavors and characteristics that perfectly express their style. Made with 50 to 60 different Crus, and 30 to 45% reserve wines, the Pinot Noir (50-55%) predominates, providing that structure so typical of Veuve Clicquot, while its Chardonnay (28-33%) provides the essential elegance and delicacy in a perfectly balanced wine and, finally, a touch of Meunier (15-20%) that serves to round out the blend. The mixture is completed with 12% of a still red wine with its red grapes, which gives it a fruity flavor. The long aging time in the "Crayères" (minimum of 3 years) gives the Champagne its silkiness.
